Spinal Manipulation

Spinal Manipulation is used by chiropractors to improve nerve communication in the body, joint motion and coordination, physical function and performance, and correct posture by relieving pressure on restricted joints of vertebrae and extremities and muscles of back, neck, shoulders, leg, ankle, arm, wrist and elbow. It is also used to reduce pain and discomfort from tension disorders and stress, chronic injuries, bursitis and arthritis.

Spinal Manipulation is also known as high velocity low amplitude thrust or Chiropractic Adjustment that is accompanied by an audible cavitation (releasing of dissolved gas in the synovial fluid following a rapid separation of the articular surfaces of encapsulated synovial joint) often recognized as “popping or cracking” sound of the joints.
